for those that didn’t here, allie and I made it down to SD/OC/LA this weekend. did a little golfing, pokering, eating, Zooing, and hanging.

even though the strong strong majority (by this I mean none) will never read this, I just want them to know…I hate you all. continue on with your 70 degree weather, your rainbow sandals, your beautiful golf courses, and your hip pro sports teams. of course…I’m kidding.

but as they say (as cheesy as it may be) home is where the heart is. we look forward to our friends and family when they embrace us back to the great north. so as for SD, You stay classy SD, stay classy.

tonight marks the end of our trip up north. I (we) had a great time hanging with relatives, check’n the city, eating, spending a buncha time with close friends (A&J), loving on the wifey, and chillin with elsa.

welp, it’s been a while since I’ve posted that’s fo-sho. with the help of this wordpress app, I hope to post more often.

so with that said, we’re going on a mini Vacay! tomorrow evening we push off to Portland/Seatle with the ash dizzles. looks to be a chill time..we can’t wait.

As many of you may know…i am a drummer. i play drums. i make noises with circular tubes. ok…i hit stuff with sticks. but anyway, i was checking out stereogum.com today due to the fact that Death Cab for Cutie took over the site to promote their newest recording endeavor (which is amazing). any who, i was reading a post by DCFC drummer Jason McGerr when i watched one of the most amazing pieces of footage ever.

the video is of Buddy Rich, an Amazing drummer (one of the best) in which he plays an enormous solo. this alone is the worth sharing. however, half way through his solo, Buddy has a mild heart attach…AND CONTINUES THE SOLO FOR ANOTHER 3 MINUTES!!!

Dear turkey leg junkies,

how do you do it? how is it that you can chomp on that giant, greasy, over sized turkey leg? do you understand that there are literally thousands of people standing around you thinking, “dang, that is nasty.” and to you mr. Disney, how can you allow this carnivorous act? think about the kids!! i’m disappointed, and disgusted, and…hungry now that i think about it.

*disclaimer: in no way do i recommend vegetarianism-as a matter of fact i heart meat. speaking of meat, we just bought a bbq!! as of this moment i am staring at it…half assembled…in complete frustration. i’m inviting all of you to skip on over and help put it together. please. really.
